One of the most useful items in the game, the Autopilot makes in-system flight and
docking possible for all levels of pilot, as well as much less tedious. However, the autopilot occasionally goes wrong and runs into things, and is of very little use
in a fight, fuel scooping from a star or Gas Giant, scooping up cargo, or landing
rough on a planet, so good flying skills are still needed.
