FRONTIER HELP - TRADE GOODS

SLAVES

"Consider carefully where you are going to trade because slave trading is illegal in many systems, where it is seen as unacceptable. Life support needed."

TYPICAL COST (MAJOR IMPORT): 1200 CREDITS
TYPICAL COST (MINOR IMPORT): 1120 CREDITS
TYPICAL COST (STANDARD RATE): 1040 CREDITS
TYPICAL COST (MINOR EXPORT): 919 CREDITS
TYPICAL COST (MAJOR EXPORT): 708 CREDITS
TYPICAL COST (ILLEGAL): 2010 CREDITS

With a standard cost of 1040 credits, slaves carry a good profit per unit, but may be too expensive for beginning pilots. They are illegal in the Federation and many Independant systems, so brave pilots could make a bit of extra cash by smuggling slaves from the Empire or Anarchies. It is also important to remember that Slaves need a cargo bay life support facility fitted - otherwise they turn to Fertiliser, and you suffer a large loss of profit. If you start in the Lave system, I reccommend that you run Slaves from Riedquat to Lave.
