Troubled Windows - my fansub of the Troubled Windows opening animation. Troubled Windows is a fan-made parody, masquerading as the introduction to an anime in which Microsoft's Windows operating systems are represented by different girls. It was pretty popular as an internet meme in the middle of 2004, although it's popularity seems to have died down a bit now. Someone also uploaded it to YouTube, which is probably a more convenient way to watch.
nciku Chinese Dictionary and Language Tools - with handwriting recognition, text-to-speech, theme words, custom user vocab lists and loads of other features. Very useful for anyone learning Chinese (also, I work there).
nciku Mobile Chinese Dictionary - a slimmed down version of nciku aimed at mobile phones. It's really good, you should use it.
nciku Japanese Dictionary and Kanji Input Tool - similar to the nciku Chinese dictionary, with handwriting recognition, custom user vocab lists, memorization tests and all sorts of useful features.
ZDT - the Zhongwen Development Tool - a great open-source program for practicing Chinese, with flashcards, a dictionary and more. Their word lists use the CEDICT format, meaning that they're compatible with my own mobile Chinese flashcards program.
FreeLanguage.org: Learn Mandarin Chinese - a useful website full of resources for learning Chinese (as well as twelve other major languages).
Midlands Anime Club - the link is broken, but the club is still running - it's a monthly anime event I helped to run at the University of Birmingham for people around the West Midlands area. They've got a non-stop screening room where they show a selection of fansubs, classic anime, new dubs and a movie, and a second room for socialising and videogames. Events are usually on the second Saturday of the month.
University of Birmingham Anime and Manga Society - another anime club that I was involved in when I lived in England. Meetings are on Monday evenings during term time, around 7:30pm in the Guild Council Chamber. If you're a student in Birmingham, or just live nearby, they'll be happy to see you.
Amecon - The largest anime convention in the UK, which usually runs in August. I was on the committee of one of its previous incarnations (in 2004) as the Non Cosplay Events Co-Ordinator, and people seemed to enjoy themselves.
